Seventy Years of Family History
“Like so many other parents, my mom often got frustrated and would utter those three little words: ‘You never listen.’ But to all those parents out there who don’t believe their children listen to them. Trust me, we do listen. We may not always listen when told to do our chores, but we listen to what’s truly important.” Margaret Jones
This is a collection of our mom's stories. These stories span seven decades (1920s-1980s). They include her parents’ backgrounds as products of the Great Depression, her childhood in Memphis, TN during the height of the Civil Rights movement, and her experiences as a young military wife and mother.
